The switch is suitable for oil-immersed power transformers with a frequency of 50 or 60 Hz, a rated current of 63 A or less, and a rated voltage of 35 kV or less. The flange of the tap changer can be mounted directly on the tank cover or tank wall of the transformer for voltage regulation. When operating the tap changer, the transformer must be disconnected from the grid and left in a de-energized state.
