Application

Pressure relief valves are suitable for oil-immersed power transformers, power capacitors and cutout switches for tank protection.

When a fault occurs in the operation of the oil-immersed transformer, due to the overheating of the coil, the transformer is partially charged, and the pressure in the oil tank rises rapidly. At this time, the pressure relief valve will act quickly within 2 milliseconds to prevent the tank from deforming or bursting. When the pressure in the oil tank rises again and reaches the opening pressure, the pressure relief valve acts again until the pressure in the oil tank drops to the normal level. At the same time, it can also effectively prevent external air, dust, impurities, water vapor, etc. From entering the transformer in operation, thus protecting the transformer from damage.
